MotoGP Shuttles, here’s how to get to Mugello Circuit by bus

In anticipation of the large turnout of spectators expected for the World Championship to be held on 27-29 May 2022 at the Mugello Circuit in the municipality of Scarperia and San Piero, Autolinee Toscane has prepared, in collaboration with the Tuscany Region, additional shuttle connections in the busiest days: Saturday 28th and especially Sunday 29th May, race day.

The shuttles will cover two routes. The first is from the Borgo San Lorenzo train station to the closest reachable point of the Mugello Circuit. The other is from the San Piero a Sieve train station to the circuit or, on Sunday, to the nearest point that can be reached. Transfer times may be affected by the extraordinary turnout expected along the access roads to the circuit.

Connection from Borgo San Lorenzo railway station.
The Borgo San Lorenzo station, for those reaching Mugello by train, is particularly suitable because compared to that of San Piero a Sieve it can guarantee a greater number of connections and therefore a faster flow.
From the BSL station, Autolinee Toscane organizes the following transfers to the Mugello Circuit:

Saturday 28 May
– from 8.00 to 13.00 and from 15.00 to 20.00 shuttle service with 2 buses with 29 seats. Route: from the Borgo San Lorenzo railway station to the crossroads for Figliano. The route is 2.6 km long; approximate travel time of 4 minutes in normal traffic conditions.

Sunday 29 May
– from 8.00 to 13.00 and from 15.00 to 20.00 shuttle service with 4 buses with 29 seats. Route: from the Borgo San Lorenzo railway station to the crossroads for Figliano. The route is 2.6 km long; approximate travel time of 4 minutes in normal traffic conditions.

Connection from the San Piero a Sieve railway station.
Saturday 28 May
– from 8.00 to 10.00 and from 16.00 to 22.00 circular service carried out with 1 bus with 29 seats. Route: San Piero a Sieve railway station – Rotonda Coltelli – Shopping center – Arrabbiata – Palagio – Via Dante / Via Boccaccio – Rotonda Coltelli – San Piero a Sieve railway station. The outward route is 8.5 km; approximate travel time of 11 minutes in normal traffic conditions; the return is 7.7 km, an approximate travel time of 11 minutes in normal traffic conditions.

Sunday 29 May
– from 8.00 to 12.00 and from 15.00 to 19.00 circular service carried out with 1 urban bus with 42 seats. Route: San Piero a Sieve railway station – Rotonda Coltelli – Rotonda Ferrari – San Piero a Sieve railway station. The route is 5.8 km long; Approximate travel time of 8 minutes in normal traffic conditions, both for the outward and return journeys.
